Mufti Hisham Dawood memorized the Qurʾān at age fourteen and completed his ʿĀlimiyyah studies at Madrasah Inʿāmiyyah and Dārul ʿUlūm Zakariyyā under Shaykh al-Hadīth Muftī Riḍāʾ al-Haq. He completed his iftāʾ training at Dar al-Iftāʾ Maḥmūdiyyah and has served as a full-time faculty member in the Dār al-Iftā department at Darul Qasim College since 2015.

Mawlana Shaheer Pathan began his religious education at the Academy of Sautul Furqan, NJ, and continued at the Institute of Islamic Education, IL. He has been part of Darul Qasim College as a student, student-teacher, and now teacher, currently serving in the Dār al-Iftā under the senior Muftis.

Mawlana Arsalan Haque was born in Pakistan and raised in Texas. He holds a Biochemistry degree from Texas A&M University and a Sharia degree from al-Azhar University, where he studied Quranic recitation, ḥadīth, Shāfiʿī fiqh, uṣūl al-fiqh, and tasawwuf, receiving ijāzah from multiple scholars. He has served as Assistant Imam and Resident Imam in the U.S., and currently serves as Resident Scholar of the Islamic Association of Collin County and Director of Taqwa Seminary.

Mawlana Muzzammil Ahmad is the Imam of Masjid Aisha (North Austin Muslim Community Center) in Austin, TX. He completed traditional studies at Nadwatul Ulama and Al-Azhar University, followed by an MA in Islamic Law from SOAS, University of London. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Ḥanbalī studies at KU Leuven and completing an MA in legal theory (uṣūl al-fiqh) at Al-Azhar. A ḥāfiẓ of the Qur’an with traditional ijāzāt in major Islamic texts, he also teaches locally and online and engages in research and translation projects.

Instructor: Shaykh Murabit Benavidez
Shaykh Murabit embraced Islam at age 19 and pursued traditional studies in Syria and Mauritania, specializing in Arabic, Maliki Fiqh, ʿAqīdah, and Tasawwuf. He has taught at several leading Islamic institutions in the United States, including Darul Qasim College and Zaytuna College. He is also active in dawah and community work in New York City and New Jersey, reflecting his commitment to making traditional Islamic knowledge accessible and impactful in contemporary American Muslim life.
