Mawlana Umar Ahmed is a graduate of the Advanced Program at Darul Qasim College and currently serves as a faculty member here, teaching Hadith and Tajwid. He completed the memorization of the Qur’an at the Institute of Islamic Education (IIE) and has received ijazah in the recitation of Hafs from Mawlana Arif Kamal and Shaykh Mahmoud Akkawi, with whom he is presently pursuing advanced studies in the ten Qira’at. Alongside his academic and teaching commitments, he works professionally as an Oracle Database Administrator.
