Mawlana Abdurrehman Haji began his religious studies at Ṣuffah Educational Guidance, completing the memorization of the Holy Qurʾān in May 2005. He then began pursuing a formal ʿĀlimiyyah degree, studying at Dar al-ʿUlūm al-Madania in Buffalo, New York and then at Dār al-ʿUlūm Canada in Chatham, Ontario.

After completing the ʿĀlim course, his studies culminated in his traveling to study at the renowned Jāmiʿat MaẓāhirʿUlūm, Sahāranpūr, U.P., India. There Mawlana Abdurrehman spent an additional four years to do his post-graduate studies – takhaṣṣuṣ in Hadith, studying Hadith and it’s sciences under his Shaykh; Shaykh Muhammad Yunus al-Jawnpuri rahimahullah and multiple others and acquiring general permission to transmit Hadith from scholars such as Shaykh Iftikhār al-Hasan al-Kāndhlawi rahimahullah and Mufti Ahmad Hasan Khan Tonkī rahimahullah.

Mawlana Abdurrehman specializes in Hadith and the principles of Hadith sciences (Uṣūl al-Ḥadith). He currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Hadith.
