The theme of the Sūrah changes in this verse from the story of Maryam (AS) to that of Ibrāhīm (AS). Shaykh Amin elaborates on the excellent etiquette followed by Ibrāhīm (AS) in his treatment of his disbelieving father. ‘Ṣiddiqiyyah’ is the highest station of human spirituality that is not always privy only to the prophets (AS).
